Hacking new unmoddable wii?

is there a new wii that is unmoddable? i wanted to buy a new US Wii but the shop said it is unmoddable as a new drive is used. not d2c. something newer.

i dont think there is a Wii which cant be modded. I had one just after Xmas and thats modded now.

i've heard about this, on blackcats, i haven't heard about anyone else talking about it though, i've heard that all current modchips don't' work with it too. if you can i would at least try to find a d2c modable Wii.

Yes, there is a d2c version2
its impossible to tell the difference when you open the console
no modchips work on it, BUT, d2pro have figured it out, and firmware will be available n about 1.5 weeks i think

MY Wii has a WiiKey and my other (which is in my house - happens to be my gfs now) has a newer ModChip - need any more explaining?

EDIT: I use my old Wii for most testing

Ive heard of these D2C's in USA, but have their been any confirmations of Europe being affected?

I suppose you just need either a new chip or firmware for current D2C chips.

Would be interesting to see if they have surfaced on this side of the World yet!
