I am looking to hack my ps3 slim. I’ve had it for years and recently have looked into hacking it. There’s so much info out there it’s hard to determine what’s the best way to go about doing it. I have been told to buy a cobra but I don’t know much about it. I want to be able to play games online like GTA. Is there anyone with more knowledge that can recommend the best way to hack a ps3 and what all parts I need to buy.

Ok so I was able to get away from work and checked my ps3 serial number- cf41575931-Cech-3001a. I am currently on 4.82 but need some help trying to figure out if it was once 3.55. How can I find this information out?

At the moment there is nothing you can do with that model.

Ok I will have to find one that I can mod. I’m just wondering if at this point it would be best to hack a ps4 rather than buy another old gaming system. That’s if it’s even possible to hack those yet. Thanks for all the help from you guys.

I’m looking into picking up a ps4 now. My real concern is how do I find one that can be hacked and is it worth hacking the ps4 over the ps3?

I was able to pick up another ps3 for a decent price today. I looked at the list and it was on there so I figured it was a good deal. The guy told me it was a Cech-2001a. when I picked it up he said he upgraded it to a 320gb. My question is would that effect anything or can I still jailbreak it?

I don't have a wii u anymore to test it myself, but if homebrews are not visible on the wii u menu I think you can press L + R + minus to open the plugin menu, there should be an option called "homebrews on wii u menu" or something similar
  • crafthp434 @ crafthp434:
    nope
  • crafthp434 @ crafthp434:
    it is L+dpad down+ select

@Xdqwerty you can use a "spawner" function on any object.

  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
Or when your player dies, you can say in code, if enemy exists, do nothing, but if enemy does not exist, then create enemy at certain spot. (This would be a pain tho for lots of emeies)

Easiest, simple way would be just restart scene, but player would restart from beginning.
