Will this be updated with the 1.10 kernel? I'm not able to launch Goodboy Galaxy with Addons and the 1.10 kernel says it fixes addons with Goodboy Galaxy.

Edit: The Game launches fine without Addons but when launching with Addons it gets stuck at "Copying ROM. . ."

Edit 2: Workaround for anyone that wants to use the current version of Simple with this game and addons:

Install the official 1.10 kernel and firmware, write Goodboy Galaxy to NOR with addons, and then switch back to simple.

i thought i should share this here. i made a gba emulator a while ago that also emulates the ezflash omega (and DE). It will function the same as it would on hardware, although rom loading will be a lot faster. I emulated it as i also wanted to write my own skin/firmware, however i never got around to it, and so the code has been left doing nothing...

if anyone is interested in it, i'll work on getting the code uploaded (the interface needs to be a bit more user/dev friendly). I think it would help improve the workflow of anyone working on the firmware - as well as for users wanting to test the ezflash out before they buy (i highly recommend buying one regardless, the DE is awesome).

i set the screen capture software to use a low framerate and no audio to keep filesize down. the emulator is not slow and it does have audio!
100% interested. I'd like to start messing around with this custom firmware stuff with a lower chance of bricking my EZFlash.

Update v3.8 (Original):
- Rebase to K1.10. Gooboy Galaxy should work with addon now.
- Replace the English QR Code with one that points to my new website.

Update v1.51 (DE):
- Replace the English QR Code with one that points to my new website.

All links that I have relating to this project should be fixed now, I have moved my site to a new domain (after 5 years of it being online!) but i've made sure that there's a dummy page where the old URL was that redirects where you need to go.

Thank you.
I got my Omega last december and thanks to your custom kernel I have enjoyed a lot of gba games I never played back in the day.
Definitely superior to the original EZO kernel.

Can you please help me? I can't figure out how to save or savestate my gb and gbc games for the life of me! Whenever I exit, and start the game again, my savestate is always gone! I can't get pokemon games to save regular at all either! I've tried a solution somewhere that says to savestate, then hit restart in menu (to lock the savestate in), then power off and on the gba and the savestates would be there, but not for me. Do you have an answer? I updated official kernel to v7 and then to your most recent kernel.

Update the jagoomba color emulator for its latest version in the plugins folder, rename it to both gb.gba and gbc.gba

What @liquidgykill said. The version in the original Omega is patched to disable some saving things because it was very very susceptible to SD card corruption (Real-Time Saving is never a good idea).

Jagoomba Color can be found here. You probably want to do the version without the "ezo" or "ezode" suffix.

Of course, do this at your own risk.

So I have a similar problem with this and I did add the latest version of Jagoomba Color renamed it gb.gba and gbc.gba dropped it in the Plug Folder and its still not saving my normal saves or save states I look in the SAVER folder and the save is there just when I boot it up it says theres no save. I was wondering if it was something on my end or do I need to delete anything else specific any help would be greatly appreciated

Try deleting all the old jagoomba saves from the saver and backup folders. Start with fresh saves that worked for me.

Did anyone ever find a wayto get polished crystal to work on the simple de? I'm using the latest version 3.1.1 of the rom and it doesn't boot at all :( on the most recent firmware and SimpleDE

Hmm, odd. It might just be one of those romhacks that breaks compatibility.

Does the Omega DE not get the K1.10 rebase too? Still says 1.05 for me.

Let me see if I get this right: first I have to install the official EZ Flash firmware and THEN Simple on top, right?

Edit: Apparently not since the Help screen in the cart says K: 1.10 F:9, maybe it was a dumb question but still some confirmation would help me sleep at night.

Sorry but I'm very new to all of this, is the GBC performance supposed to be this unreliable even with the latest Simple firmware? I've installed the official one and then the latest Simple one and there is no difference in GBC performance, I'm still experiencing the same glitches and lag.

Again, sorry if this is a stupid question.

Yeah, the GBC emulator has not been updated in a while.
Gbc emulation its just like a bonus and its pretty inaccurate. Very hit or miss.

Use the offical kernel to update the firmware, then switch back to this theme.
