Gaming New Swapnote Update

Yeah, it's live for the US.

Yeah all it does is give you the option of adding voice and pictures on the spot instead of uploading from the SD card. A nice feature but should have been standard in my opinion

New nice background, new stationery (not an update), shows number of replies, I'll check out the other updates

Gold notes say when you click the wrench:
"This Special note predates the system that allows settings to be set for special notes on a category-by-category basis. Its settings can't be changed."

EDIT: It shows the pen marker when you write.
You can play the drawing even while editing a note, sweet!
Taking a pic while using swapnote is very handy
You can delete stationeries. (Only special ones)
Filter notes (Check notes only sent by this person)

Background? Stationery? I have yet to see these new ones you speak of, all I heard was the features I mentioned above and the new "different color" per page option I just got in a note from Nikki (and using B to undo your last stroke)

Actually, I think everyone will get a note from nikki.

they made the line too blurry, sketchier looking.. i notice it is "stickier" and goes to pixels it's not supposed to when drawing to match how it looked in the upper screen since the actual 1:1 resolution only appears at 2 points of the 3D slider
that made some old of my old notes impossible to read since me and a few friends wrote in tiny letters at times
I guess they're trying to force people to draw more instead of writing

the filter is great, it's nice to be able to use more than a single color in a note, the undo button was really necessary, it's good to watch the playback of the notes while watching them...
I liked that update a lot, except for what they did to the line.

What makes me kinda sad is

Unfortunately, Europe will have to wait longer than initially planned as the new update for Swapnote – known as Letter Box in the EU – didn’t arrive in the eShop last week as scheduled. Nintendo have yet to confirm a new release date for Europe.

I also kinda doubt we'll see it today. :/

Its not up on the eshop, well thats shit. Does that mean letters are incompatible between NA and EU for the time being?

I'll send you a note with different colors per page, I think a non updated version will only see the different colors on the bottom screen.

so that is what the update was for, the other night on my 3ds. I never went into the eshop, it tried to update while i was playing new super mario 2.

the letter that you sent with the image in the reply wasnt showing up and the other letter with the multiple colors only showed on the bottom screen as you predicted.
