Hi,
after 1289320 problems updating Gateway (https://gbatemp.net/threads/emunand-not-booting-after-updating-launcher-dat.387797/) I did it; I went to launch NSMB 2 and - BOOM!
Save file corrupt!
Any way to recover my save file? I finished star world yesterday and I don't want to lose this progress

I ber you updated from a low firmware to a higher one that doesn't use the same encryption for save file.

I updated the Launcher.dat, NOT EmuNand.
PS: I also have this problem with Kirby Triple Deluxe, but other games are OK

Did you update sysNAND?
Actually the save encryption only comes into play if you update sysNAND from a lower firmware to 6.x+ and you're playing on a retail cartridge.

Nope, neither Emunand. Both on 6.3

Guess what!?!?! It was the SD card reader. A fake chinese SD card reader that damages files. Because of that I broke a 3DS because of a corrupted NAND backup!
