Hello, yesterday I got the new Mario game (downloaded it from eShop). I bought it mainly because I liked very much the co-op mode of the Wii version. Well, I have to say that I'm really disappointed so far: the game has a lot of slowdowns in co-op mode, sometimes it becomes so slow that you can't even play (in the middle of action it goes 5fps or so for some seconds). Anyone else here experienced these problems?

I'm actually wondering what class your sdcard is? I had a 4 and couldbt play demos without this weird lag, I got a 10 and now everything runs flawlessly. Has anyone who bought retail run into this problem?

A class 6 Sandisk (which is what I have) should run stuff just fine. I've saved demos and stuff and they all run just fine. Keep in mind that not all classes are the same. Example, both me and my friend have 32GB SD cards, his is a class 10 while mine is a class 6. However, mine runs almost twice as fast as his.

Some companies, like Sandisk, down-rate their cards. So my class 6 is actually almost 3 times over the required speed for a class 10 card (to be fair, my friends card is 1.5 times as fast). SO! With that said, if you get a class 10 Sandisk, you'll be in great shape. If you go cheaper and get a class 6 Sandisk like your good friend BenRK here, you'll be just fine! But yeah, a class 4 is rather slow...

I have the default one sold with the 3DS. Do you think the problem could be related to the SD card and not the game itself or wifi connection?

For anyone in Europe, Amazon UK have some really great deals on Samsung Class 10 SD cards. I bought a 32GB a few weeks back, but the different sizes have had their prices slashed immensely. The 32GB has gone up from about £17 since I bought it (9th July), but it's still not a bad deal. I'm using it in my 3DS and have noticed an increase in speed, although I don't have NSMB2 yet.

What exactly in on your SD card? It just sounds like a large amount of space despite their being quite little to put on it. I can only think music but the 3DS is pretty terrible for mp3s. I'm still rolling with my standard 2GB SD card and I've filled up
