You can delete saved data. I thought i had a bricked cart 1 time turned out just semi corrupted save data so if you can still access title screen you may try this to see if it is indeed a bricked cart.

According to the in-game manual you have to "Press up on the D-pad + B + X simultaneously from the title screen" in order to erase your data. If u want to try this to get a working GAME again as a last resort but be warned it will delete the save data and make it like a BRAND NEW CART (used in the case you get a used copy and want to start anew) .....if you do this.... and it still wont read your cart.... that is conformation of a bricked cart.

if it works after doing this it was just a bad save enjoy your now working copy of x or y.

My X copy got weirdly bricked, I could still play it and everything but it wouldn't save, it was recognizable to Powersaves and Pokebank and my 3DS but however crashed when I tried to delete the save data.

Volcanion has an O above his head, which may mean Omega?
Hoopa (think about this) has its body shaped as an A which would stand for Alpha?

Perhaps just a hint towards their possible release. Because didn't the lady studying volcanion visit a far off place. Perhaps hoenn was that place. Maybe you will run into her in ORAS. Purely speculation but a good find.

Not so much top secret anymore.

It was meant to be top secret.

Let's look at it from the original standpoint that the Pokemon X&Y was not hacked:
No point to use it to hint a game, when the ORAS's information, came out before Volcanion's Official Announcement.

Seeing that Nintendo/Game Freak hasn't said anything about Hoopa or Volcanion and ORAS almost coming to a release, pretty sure they're going to be meant for those games.

I just don't know why they were put into the XY code unless there would be an event for them in XY when ORAS is released.
