if you use the gender code on a meowstic, does the form and ability actually change or does it just change the gender identifier?

The only reason that I'm asking this is that there has been a fair amount of confusion related to this code in the past.

Are you trying to change the language of the nidoqueen? If so, the region modifier will not do that. Language and region are separate values now. The only way to see the region modifier working is to view the pkx file. Otherwise, you will see no external difference in the pokemon in game after the code is applied.

If you are not trying to change the language and are really trying to just change the region byte, then I don't know why it's not working for you.

My Nidoqueen has a little tag in the upper left corner of her Summary page thingy that says ITA, which means she originated in Italy, I think? I'm trying to make that tag thingy go away.

There needs to be a Level Modifier code. Where we can change the levels of our Pokemon. I have a Level 100 Shiny Squirtle and I'm unable to evolve it

It's impossible to make that tag thing go away. The only way to make that tag thing go away is if she's traded back to an Italian Game or you change the language of your game to Italian.

Your guess is as good as mine. Have you tried hovering over the code and see what it does? Sometimes they add something like that to explain what it does.

To answer both of your questions, this gen changed language and region. Before, language and region were tied to the same value in the program. That's why in pokegen, when you selected Japanese, the game cranked out a pokemon with a Japanese language flag and made the game think that it was caught on a Japanese cart.

Now, these values are separate. The language flag is determined by the language that you are playing in. Region is tied to what region your 3DS is. Now it's possible to have a legit Japanese flag Pokemon with a US region byte.

Caught a female Espurr, evolved it to a Female Meowstic, applied the gender change code, now it's a Male Meowstic with the appearance of a Male Meowstic.

Can someone help me out. I want to play my retail pokemon y cartridge in gateways classic mode with emunand. It says the save is corrupted. I've read that I can use the cartridge; I just have to ease my save and the save will only work with emunand. Can I backup my save with the powersave and use it on emunand? Or is there anyway for me to use my old save on my gateway 3ds.?

Hello, I just got powersaves today and It's not recognizing my Animal crossing cart or my Pokemon Y cart and just does what's shown in this video.
I've tried all the known was of "Fixing" it but none have worked, also codes don't show up for any of the games that are recognized.
