I'm not sure if I can ask this, but does anyone have a working japanese key that I could borrow for testing purposes? The encrypted commands I'm using now only seem to read the NCCH headers of US carts, and not my JP cart.. My theory is that theres a different set of commands for a different region.. If anyone cares, heres what I dumped from my pokemon X

The Cyber Gadget Save Editor is more intelligent and doesn't send the entire NCCH; they instead just get the game name and other specific data.

Cyber has their stuff working very well, as opposed to Powersaves.

No one seems to be looking into the possibility of writing their own application to interface with the card reader. I recall someone mapping out some of the commands in the previous threads but now these threads mostly have people that want locked pokemon and other Pokemon-oriented things.
If there could at least be some effort into looking at how the software interfaces with the reader in IDA and mapping out USB commands and posting them publicly or in the wiki then I'm sure any programmer out there could take it from there to develop their own card reader software that doesn't rely on Datel servers being up.

except thats exactly what i was doing in my post above, lol.. i'm writting a USB HID driver in C#.. I'm able to figure out the encrypted commands via a debugging program and then use my program to send them to the device and listen for a callback.. thats how i dumped the NCCH headers off the cart.. just using that alone wont let you magically sign saves we need to send this data to a service that can.

Cloning Code Added! You can clone Box 1 to Box 2 with one click! Sweet! This could save lots of time!
Isn't faster to clone using Pokemon Bank? Just backup, transfer, then restore...

EDIT: Forgot you had to pay for it, so I guess its handy for people who didn't pay ^_^

is this a sign datel will allow custom codes soon? Cloning is some pretty illegal stuff, maybe they'll let us have real fun now.

Cloning isn't really that illegal. I was doing it months before Powersaves. It took two 3DS units and carts and a ton of patience. I wouldn't read too much into it personally other than it is catering to people who are too cheap to buy Bank.

Enjoy it now, before they take down this cloning code because they're "taking" profits from Bank.

Anyways, it's funny. I was using Powersaves last night thinking to myself, why the hell haven't they created a cloning code yet? ...less than 24 hours later BAM.

I use my pokemon to transfer chars from my X cart to my Y download or vice versa. So even though my powersaves can do cloning, I still will keep the bank, and anyways, you pay $5 for a year on the bank, anyone who wanted it probably still has 6+ months left on it

No offense, K1RO, but I was about to bring up that "There's a pay-wall you have to get through before you can use it and some people don't have internet, or a credit card. But now, it won't cost to clone." A clever addition on Datel's part, wouldn't you say? And yes, I read your edit.
