Hardware New Nintendo 3DS XL Only issue?

On My New 3DS XL which I purchased a few months ago, I started to notice a few days ago a weird light on the top left corner of my 3DS's top screen whenever I turn it on and is most noticeable when the screen is black, the light stays on my system till I turn it off and I don't know how to get rid of it. Is it a hardware issue?
Or something else? It wasn't there when I first bought my new 3ds XL so I don't know what could have happened.
(I would have taken this picture in the light but it isn't very noticeable unless it's dark.)

This is called bad luck regarding IPS screens. Only way to get rid of it is replacing your screen.

If this is my only issue with the screen, then my system itself should be fine right?
