When you click the power button on the LEGO Mario, he says "LEGO Mario time!".
There's apparently a bluetooth funcion if you're judging by the back of it.

When LEGO Mario jumps on Goombas, a coin sound effect is played.
Apparently there's a time limit of 60 seconds after you click power, when you're running out of time, it plays the music it was just playing, but faster. What happens when the time runs out is not shown in the trailer.
When LEGO Mario gets to the flagpole, he plays the sound effect of when you complete a level in "Super Mario Bros."
Piranha Plant, Yoshi, Bowser. Jr, Goomba, Shy Guy and Koopa Troopa and Flag Pole are all confirmed to be in the set
