I haven and R4 (original) and I run YSMenu. I downloaded both files, replaced the old files in the TTMenu. I then tried to load 2906-Star Wars - The Clone Wars - Jedi Alliance. It seemed to load fine, but then a black box popped up saying:
[Rom loading failed]
disk errcode=-81
I hope you can help!![]()
Sorry guys, not trying to nag but any one have any ideas on my problem?![]()
When the unofficial DSTT firmware was available with support for Star Wars The Clone Wars : Jedi Alliance, I don't think it ever worked on the R4 when it was ported over using YSMenu (for some odd reason). No one really cared though because the firmware at http://www.r4li.com/ allowed Star Wars The Clone Wars : Jedi Alliance to work fine.
Does this firmware work on the original R4?

The R4li's firmware is crap.drwhojan said:Leo99999 said:Lacius said:Leo99999 said:Leo99999 said:Hey guys, thanks for this work but I am experiencing errors with the file!

Yes R4 v1.24 kernel dose work on R4 original , from http.www.r4il.com

Well Leo asked if there were any way to play Star Wars The Clone Wars : Jedi Alliance. If you're not going to play Star Wars The Clone Wars : Jedi Alliance, use YSMenu.twiztidsinz said:The R4li's firmware is crap.
Better compatibility with games than official R4 1.18, sure... but it's lacking a lot of features and looks crappy.
It's also got a bug where the volume control is completely ignored and volume set to a very low level.
The extinfo.dat released February 26, 2010 is the best extinfo.dat to use since it corrects problems in many USA games and some European games. The extinfo.dat released March 5, 2010 loses support for many USA and European games going back as far as Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars. I'm not sure why, considering the extinfo.dat that came with DSTT 1.17a12 had support for Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars. It sounds to me like it had to be intentionally taken out.bitonio6 said:sorry but can we talk about test and DSTT kernel here, please?!

Sorry. Anyways Sonic and SEGA All-Stars Racing and Sonic Classic Collection still are no goes.bitonio6 said:sorry but can we talk about test and DSTT kernel here, please?!

I agree about it looking shitty, but I've never had a volume bug out of my R4i. o_o

The volume bug tends to happen to DS and not DSL , for some weard resion...
But the R4 v1.23 kernel 2009-07-05 , is save for that sound problem
