Sorry for the mistake, I don't really play the Castlevania games. I only know SOTN really. I can't believe Soma's not in this.

Maybe Soma is an unlockable character?

That is fake, I saw that exact screen earlier. It's Death getting attacked. Also note the font in the Soma name isn't even the same.

That kind of sucks, maybe they'll add him as an unlockable character, who knows? Skipping the protagonist of a game they made a sequel with that didn't have a Belmont as a main character is a bit odd.

Because the artwork is by Takeshi Obata, the guy who did Death Note's artwork, a lot of people complained actually because they thought it didn't fit Castlevania(wtf Simon looks like a buff version of Light), they all preferred Ayami Kojima's.

Graphics look immense for the Wii, everything else about it just screams average though. i won't pick this up unless it really surprises.

About this game sucking... I actually have high hopes for this game. I love fighting games, and I love Castlevania, so I'm pretty sure I'll like this game regardless of what the critics say.

A lot of people are complaining about the "Castlevania Note" characters, but I find that to be a positive thing. I've been a fan of Death Note ever since the sneak peek in Shonen Jump a couple of years ago, and I thought it was the best manga series I have ever read. I think the characters look very good, although they aren't exactly the same as they were in their games. Of course, the fanboys are pissed... but I think the artist did a very good job. I'm very impressed by the characters.

I second comments about the artwork, it's not that it's bad it's just, wrong. Ignoring the similarities to Death Note, on the Simon Belmont one is it just me or does that face have completely the wrong build to fit that body?

And since when did Castlevania have little blonde girls with pigtails?
