---None animated---
HBL Custom Banner

http://nl.youtube.com/watch?v=w-4sZ_Ki9z8

Second:
Custom start up logo (By WiiShizzza we know from here)
(Though Preloader is NOT like Bootmii at all... I mean it doesn't load (The HBC) before System menu boots)

http://nl.youtube.com/watch?v=ooipugU387s

That was all...

Greets,
Adr990

(Note: I don't take responsibilities for the animated wad Also I didn't made it!)

How to make animated channels: (wohoo!!!)

Small tutorial than I guess: (not more needed than this, except the tools -> You can get them here)

I got to say that the Softchip Channel is made by NeoRame and me.
And they won't get released at this point! Still much to investigate.
Also lot of unwanted code in there atm....

Can be done, but lot of work!
I examined lot of files... for a real custom menu an ASH compressor would be really appreciated.

I would say for a custom Menu wait for the cSM

Would be great if you could release a bundled CSM with some preinstalled , or add-in installs of animated channels - would look great.

good job Shizz im glad you finally got it working. As you've probably noticed its way better with an ASH compressor and not for the feint of heart

Thanks Fors! Without your investigation I had not succeeded, I guess.
Oh yes, an ash compressor would be great.
When creating a real custom sysmenu it's definitely needed. Or we end up with a very big file.

But I doubt anyone will release or can code one...

Can you ?

Sometimes yeah but it doesn't seem to be a super common thing, mostly just like a "whoops, some labels for the wrong record got mixed into the stack somehow, nobody noticed, then someone else further down the process went wait how did album B get mixed in with album A, let me put those in the right pile" sort of thing.

Were those even LCD, or did they have tiny lamps inside?
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
@Veho, They were LCD games if I'm not mistaken with lamps inside.

Took full sized C cell batteries.

In the distant past before all these fancy solid state electronic gizmos, there were segmented displays with tiny lamps under each segment instead of one backlight and then an LCD overlay.
