My old laptop is a touchsmart tx2 1375dx. It crashes a lot with errors like memory management, no more stack irp locations etc. Is that caused by the laptop overheating I've seen it go 90+ Celsius before or is that permanent damage from the heat? I figured that I would get something like this to reduce the temperature if it would solve the crashing. http://cgi.ebay.com/260690256009#ht_1531wt_1138 Also ran memtest on the ram and its fine. As for the new laptop I was thinking of getting this http://www.amazon.com/ASUS-1215B-PU17-BK-1...7606&sr=1-5 It has usb 3.0, good battery life, very portable, and hdmi. I also don't think it will heat up much. Anyone have a better suggestion for a laptop? I'd like to keep it in that price range but I can go over.
