Hardware New 3DSXL Digitiser flex cable flap broken

After i hardmodded my N3DSXL and i was reassembling the console, i somehow broke the plastic flap for the digitiser cable.

Anyone had this happen to them or can think of a solution let me know, please

You can try to build up some layers of tape, starting with a layer of paper, to put pressure on the connector, I've heard of that working for other people.

I tried using tape it just wouldn't work, i might try again but it might come loose or something in the future so i would prefer a more permanent solution
