New 3DS XL Internet Connection Issues

Moved house two days ago and switched from Virgin Media to Youfibre. Never had any issues connecting my 3DS to the net previously.

After install, tried to connect my 3DS to the new wifi and its just not having it. From what I can tell from reading online, its due to the newer router being 5gHz and 3DS only working on 2.4gHz wifi

Ive tried everything I can think of-setting up a guest wifi etc, but all I get is Error Code:003-1401 etc

Anyone had the same issue?

It should be a router setting issue, usually there is a button to turn on 2.4G WiFi.
If you don't know how to set up a wireless router, the easiest way is to connect your phone to Wi-Fi, then turn on your phone's hotspot for the 3DS to use.
