Hacking New 3DS XL Battery acting weird

So I have Luma3DS + boot9strap + the other usual stuff on my New 3DS XL. Lately, randomly the power LED starts flashing red and then the system pretends to turn off. However, the battery is not actually low and the red power LED comes out of nowhere. This happens with full battery as well.

Any idea what's going on with it? I feel like Luma3DS might be doing something weird, but I don't know.

What does it say beside battery percentage and battery voltage?

when i used to repair 3ds consoles, if i held the battery against the terminals with not much pressure, the 3ds would turn on to a red light,
I would suggest bending the contacts slightly, or placing a piece of card above the battery to a good contact

Old battery? Luma Rosalina shows 10% when red and 5% when flashing red.

You can run a battery duration test with 3DS Battery Checker.

Examine if your battery is inflated, bulging, or swollen. An oompa loompa battery or one that you can use as a fidget spinner needs to be immediately removed and replaced.
