I was following the guide to update from a9lh to boot9straper cause of my New 3DS not being able to boot my r4 anymore(https://3ds.guide/updating-to-boot9strap) but after I updated Luma3DS when it was supposed to reboot, it shut down instead and my 3DS doesn't turn on now, it just turns on the blue light for moments before turning it off again. What can I do? I think I might have done something wrong and I'm afraid I might have bricked the console. I think there was something during the process that didn't match the instructions there and that might be one of the factors that derailed the updating process.

Do you have boot.firm on the root of your SD Card?
The light turns off when no payload is detected.
Try
"Black screen on SysNAND boot"
https://3ds.guide/troubleshooting
That isn't the issue here. Read the OP again.

Tried using that guide did the whole section I but when trying to boot the console on section II it still doesn't turn on
What version of luma are you currently on?
And make sure you are using the right boot.firm
I'd start with whatever luma you had on before the issue redownload same luma and put files back on ds card

Now an error screen appeared after completing step 4 of section II that says:
(first line in red letters)"An error has occurred:
Unsupported launcher (argc = 0).
Press any button to shutdown"
And it appears everytime I try to turn on the console

Protip: read the guide fully at least once before starting it.

Congrats, you've updated boot9strap. Now you have to update Luma, as the guide says. Place boot.firm from Luma 8.0 on your SD card.
