Hacking New 2ds xl hack-able?

I am a little confused about the flashcard. I have a new 3DS XL firmware 11.4.0 , what flashcard should I buy to hack this system? an Acekard 2i or a R4i Gold 3DS RTS ?

If you have a DS phat/lite or another hacked 3ds/2ds then you can get either. If all you have is the unhacked n3DS XL then get the R4i.

Visited the site already and in 11.5 it requires boot9strap which needs a 2nd device.
So can i just skip this part if i dont want to or do i have to get the boot9strap if i get a 11.5 device? (Yea i know its dumb that im asking about hacking before i even got it, but i rather still check)

You require either of the following:
1. Your unhacked system and the R4i.
2. (your unhacked system) AND (A hacked 3ds/2ds OR a DS phat/lite) AND (an Ak2i)

With the r4, you can't use it as both as a flash cart and a ntrboot cart at the same time.

1.is it possible for me (only one device) to hack a 11.5 fw device or can i only do it with a 11.4?

No, I used a credit card. So far, I haven't seen any deduction on my card. The only information I have from that email is my order number. When I use it to track the shipment of my order. Here is what I got on the site

Firstly, don't tell anyone you intend to pirate games. Secondly, yes, you can install Boot9Strap and Luma CFW on a New 2DS using NTRBootHax. Go to https://3ds.guide/ for instructions. You will need an Acekard 2i or R4i Gold 3DS RTS flashcard. If you use the Acekard 2i, you will still be able to play DS games with it afterwards, but you will need another, already modded 3DS, or DS/DS lite to install NTRBootHax on the card. Alternatively you can use DSiWare, which does require a 2nd 3DS.

Yeah, i ordered my r4 3 days ago. Nope, they give me a email to send the money (accross my paypal account) and when they received, i received a track number.

At least in paypal method they don't ask about your credit card. I don't know about other methods.

I'm not entirely against video guides, but one's like this shouldn't be used. Instead of giving a link to the actual github for NTRBootHaX, he provides his own zip. I would never trust anything downloaded from a YouTube video. That and I feel like there should always be a disclaimer like "subject to changes, please refer to (3DS.guide)"
