Hacking New 2ds xl hack-able?

Im planing on buying a n2dsxl soon and i want to hack it so that i could pirate games on it and i read here somewhere that you need a 2nd console to hack it.
Is it true? (And im new to ds hacking so i got no idea how or what everything is)

Nope, with a compatible flashcard you only need the flashcard with ntrboot and a magnet

Firstly, don't tell anyone you intend to pirate games. Secondly, yes, you can install Boot9Strap and Luma CFW on a New 2DS using NTRBootHax. Go to https://3ds.guide/ for instructions. You will need an Acekard 2i or R4i Gold 3DS RTS flashcard. If you use the Acekard 2i, you will still be able to play DS games with it afterwards, but you will need another, already modded 3DS, or DS/DS lite to install NTRBootHax on the card. Alternatively you can use DSiWare, which does require a 2nd 3DS.

Yes you do, if you use an Acekard 2i. It hasn't been compatible with unmodded 3DSes since firmware 4.3.0 or something. R4i Gold 3DS RTSes are compatible with the latest 3DS firmware.

you can buy any device you want, because they are all hackable now with ntrboot

I just explained why it is not needed - IF you decide to use an R4, which is not a good idea as the AK2i lets you continue playing DS games after you've installed NTRBootHax on it,

But what if you have no need for ntrboothax after you complete the guide and you want a DS flashcard? Do you spend the money to buy another R4i and get it shipped to you or do you fix the one you have now? :/

So with this i will insert all the files that i use to hack the device then?
And from my searchs, i need to get a r4 card because it will work with 11.4 and up fw (ehich i suspect the n2ds xl to be)
Then im suppouse to use this link phttps://3ds.guide/get-started-(new-3ds) (and hopefully getting a 11.4 fw so i wont need a 2nd device) and follow those steps.
After im done with that, i need to follow this guide https://freeshop.pw/get-started/ to download the shop and im done or am i missing something here?

Look: I am going to explain this.
You are in search for a New 2DS XL (or plan to buy one)
You need something called a flashcart to hack it
An R4i 3DS RTS or Acekard 2i are both types of flashcarts that work with the hack
A flashcart is a special type of cartridge that lets you play downloaded roms of games. But you can use it to hack a 3DS/2DS
You need to buy one from a merchant or seller.
When you do, you need a small magnet, you will get one from your refridgerator
When the flashcart arrives; follow the ntrboot section of 3ds.guide (the 3DS single system section)
Do all that and you have a hacked N2DS
