I think this is the japanese "generic" construction helmet, similar ones appear even in neon genesis evangelion...
Hey, maybe that is connected to megaman as well...After all, it does have robots in it...

This is a game of a Japanese comic KOROKKE which features in the monthly KOROKORO COMICS. There is a story mode, battle mode and trournament mode. The story mode involves KOROKKE (main character) rescuing his mates and defeating SHEESH KEBABU (evil) and their mates.

I haven't played it but what does the screen shots tell you? I think the last one of the five shows that its probably an RPG type game? Certainly has nothing that looks like a sidescrolling BemU!!!
