Hacking New #002 protection?

3.2E downgraded from 3.3E

I installed the following three WADS on my WII and they worked a treat.

What program can I best use to install these?

ps. I read somewhere that only ISO55 was needed for NFSU?

I am on 3.3E (not sure when I upgraded. I thought that I was on 3.2E) and installed IOS55. NFSU works!!

For me even with chip :/

I have installed IOS 38, 53 and 55
My wii is 3.2E, changed color system to NTSC (tried changing back to Pal doesn't works too) with DC2Key.
(Know that already said that, but I did all that people said and nothing ;/)

Any ideia of why it just don't run?

The IOS 38,53 and 55 I downloaded were JAP NTSC. Do these IOS wads work the same as any other wad files whereas you will need to patch them for proper region with WDS or similar?

Why do all people install all the IOS? Just Install IOS55 and it works with a WiiKey, I swear! But I installed ONLY IOS55..maybe that's the wrong thing? The others install all IOSes...

Normally in the past if I need to install an IOS I do it with Waninkoko's cIOS installer and hadn't considered the region thing. The main reason I was asking was that since there has been all the discussion in this thread, which is getting quite confusing, I checked the IOS's I had downloaded from a previous post with WDS and found they were J-NTSC. I have since patched them to NTSC -- not sure if I am just making more work for myself or not.

ANYONE got this working on the beta cios rev6 my misses says her bro got this working on his and he only got beta loader in which i installed dunno if the iso is pal or ntsc

And that thing that nobady said, THERE ARE DIFFERENTE IOS5 FOR PAL/NTSC? If so, anyone know where can I found tha pal one?

yes it is. right now there is no cios which works with the new nfs, because ios55 contains a new/partly new dip-module for disc reading. this dip has a different way to execute disc read commands and those are required for the new nfs. if they are not available you'll get error #002. i am pretty sure somebody is already working on that.

was wondering, if their was an automatic version of geckoOS 1.7B which automatically loads the game with ocarina codes ON, just be handy having it auto, as my tv is pal/ntsc supportive, so ive never had to "force" modes discs on my modded wii

It just needs latest IOS from the disc i think, wont be a problem with gecko 2.0 as it will extract and needed ios versions.

I assume it will be like mplayerwii type of thing where you have a config on root of SD

think its safe to say there is no way of running Undercover without a drive chip as of now until the new DIP has been done.

think i'll be taking a trip to game on friday, or jus play it on the 360 until then..
