Do cheat codes work for anyone? I've tried a few simple ones, like moon jump in Ratchet & Clank, but none of them seem to work. So I'm wondering if anyone has successfully used cheats in a game?
I think cheats (pnach) don’t work in this emu on Nintendo switch
I’ve tried shao monks and shadow of colossus and they don’t work
Maybe next releases will have it work

Could you try this build : https://gofile.io/d/vZYnl7
Its working with that build 👍🏼

For “Ratchet & Clank,” the best settings are an EE cycle rate of 100% (not lower) and the maximum EE cycle skip. If you overclock your cpu to just 1800 Mhz, you'll also need to reduce the draw distance in some open areas where there's a lot going on in the background, such as in the first level.

To do this, you can use the following cheat for the USA version of the game:

//Press L3 For Debug Menu
patch=1,EE,D013C95C,extended,0000FFFD
patch=1,EE,2015F5C4,extended,FFFFFFFF

//Press R3 Disable Debug Menu
patch=1,EE,D013C95C,extended,0000FFFB
patch=1,EE,2015F5C4,extended,00000000

I revised the code above a bit, since it was already quite old. I replaced “word” with “extended,” since that appears to be the more modern option for pnach codes. To use it press the L3 button while in a level to open the debug menu in which you can set the render distance to the preset “near.” After that close the debug menu with R3 again. This will make the game more playable. However, this setting isn't necessary everywhere: In the second level, the game runs okay even without reducing the render distance. If the music stops playing (because you opened the debug menu) you can open the in-game menu and close it again, that should solve that problem.

Edit: Limiting the frame rate to 50 Hz also seems to improve performance, especially in the second level (circa 5 more frames in general). It might also help to set the TV mode to PAL in the debug menu, since with PAL, theoretically, fewer frames need to be achieved to reach full game speed. However, cutscenes run asynchronously at 50 Hz, so it’s a matter of weighing the pros and cons.

The latest build brings a huge performance boost, really appreciate all the hard work! But I’m still running into broken 2D background graphics in The King of Fighters 98 Ultimate Match. Hoping this visual glitch can get fixed and performance can be improved further in future updates. Thank you so much for everything you’ve contributed to the Switch emulation community!

Setting NTSC to 50fps slows down the game; is there a way to fix this?

I don't think the game's logic is that closely tied to the frame rate. Because if you speed up the emulator by a factor of 0.2 at 50 fps, you do end up back at 60 fps, but everything runs faster. I've also noticed, though, that games slow down when you lower the frame rate significantly. So I'm not entirely sure.

I also noticed in Ratchet and Clank that performance improves a lot when you speed up the game. You can test this by disabling the frame rate cap when you are in the game or increasing the game speed to 150% in the settings. This gives you a performance boost of about 10 to 15 fps. However, it also makes everything move faster, which is not a good trait off
