NES palletes (also Wheres the princess?)

I once again need help

whenever I attempt to edit Mario's pallet is smb2(jpn) it resets can someone please explain why


(also While editing the graphics I cant seem to find where peach is can some one send me an image of where
her sprites are or are they just not in smb2

Did you already tried using other graphic editor or a newer/older version of the tool you're currently using? it may be the tool with bugs.

You should look again and detailed on the ROM, It may be difficult to find a sprite to edit.

well I'm using tile layer pro and usually when I edit the pallets I use the FCEUX's hex editor
