How exactly fo I use the cmd line options? I tried discex -c -a lm.iso (where lm.iso is luigi's mansion.iso placed in the discex folder) and it doesn't do anything at al

Edit: I saw in the dml thread that someone had said to format the sd card to fat16 64k clusters. Is that correct? I though sneek/uneek required 32k clusters and that maybe NeoGamma and/or DML should also use 32k clusters?

Well you can also use fstfix which might be even better for the games :P Just get it here from neogamma and run it like 'fstfix game.iso t' this should give pretty much the same effect. It will create a new iso file which you then just can drag and drop into discex.

I used Wiped GCM Fixer v1.5f and ticked both option boxes at the bottom, then dragged the output onto DiscEx. Still freezes after pressing start. :(

Just tested R9 b56 to load a GC game (Super Mario Sunshine) from SD card via DML.

It's no problem to put a Wii game disc to start the GC game .

Trying to load a GC multi-game disc with Paper Mario and Wind Waker, NeoGamma says my drive is too new even though it shows the date (20081218) earlier than the drives without compatibility.
Installed the cMIOS, everything else working fine

That's bad, may they really made those drives so early and you are the first person who reports that...

That's already the 2nd generation of incompatible drives, the 1st one is 20080714.

Oh. So I'm out of options for loading GC backups? Damn shame... I can play original GC discs thou, makes any difference?

During the good old early days of Wii Hacking, I burned some discs, but... they needed to be patched first, in order to play them on the Wii console through a dedicated loader (which at the time, was in it's early stages and ran at 3x disc speeds)

So, just to ask... are these kind of discs still supported, especially using NeoGamma? I doubt the d2x cIOS' support them, but Waninkoko's original cIOS' does though.

One of the recent NeoGamma updates fixed this problem. d2x does not support one certain function, but that function could be replaced with something else. Please report back if your discs do not work with d2x v6 or 7 with base IOS56.

Well... I currently have beta 9 r50 (which I originally got from ModMii) on the SD Card which I use with my Wii and anything to do with Homebrew.

It's just that, I have a really old Wii Backup Loader installed on my Wii which supports decrypted discs. But... I wanted to get rid of it completely and use something that's more up-to-date.

Edit: So... Your telling me beta 9 r56 has decrypted disc support then? I might as well get the latest autoboot channel and see if it works with d2x cIOS v8 beta (r41) then.

Edit 2: it's fine, there are no problems at all. :)

Using NeoGamma (Autoboot) beta 9 (r56) with d2x cIOS56 v8 beta (r41) on System Menu 4.3E.

Well... I think that old Wii Backup Launcher which I had, was the foundations for what NeoGamma is now.

But, still... It's come a long way since then and I'd like to say thank you. :)

I'm trying to play a Japanese game on my PAL Wii but the ingame kanji won't display correctly.
Is there a way of getting the game to load the internal Japanese fonts? I can't read it...
