SD cards can't be used when in GameCube mode
Pretty much the same reason there are no GC usb loaders yet

Beta 5 mirror'd (see post #2)

what's new in beta 6 ?
CODER9 beta 5 - > R9 beta 6

- Prevent that a stubbed IOS249 is loaded
- Added warning on dvd read error for drives that can't read DVD-Rs(needs to be improved)
- Hide usb/sd loading option when using an IOS

all the below refers to NTSC GC backups on a pal machine
running neogamma r9 beta 6, the neogamma screen refers to ios 249

When I first installed Neogamma I used cmios 3
Zelda windwaker ran first time, but Eternal darkness would not (crashed on the opening poe quote)

since then Ive installed cmios 5, now eternal darkness works but Windwaker doesn't

I get a blackscreen with the GameCube Backuo Loader v1.1 logo across the top, the wii then freeze's

When I install cmios 5 using cmios installer 2, I get a option for which ios to use, is there a particular one I should use
I also get options for the cmios 4,5,8 or 10.

Can I get both Windwaker and Eternal darkness running on one install.

Thanks in advance

Cause it is appreciated by a lot of peepz

No need to rush on this project, just take your time and I'm sure it will be the best GC backup loading, since I don't see any USB/SD versions comming up in the near future. That's just a lot of talk but few results, at least you are giving us some proper material

As for my problem, if you can't do it, don't insist.
It's really not a priority, as Modchip users can already launch Gamecube games.

It was just a convenience to be able to select the second disk. it's more a testing purpose for me.

Beta 7:
Added PAL(auto) video mode, it's PAL480i for NTSC and PAL576i for PAL games. That's required if your video cable or tv doesn't support NTSC playback and you need to force to PAL. PAL480i doesn't work on PAL games for some reason...

Hei Wii Power,
I have an 3.1U, cIOSrev19[38], Waninkoko cMIOSrev5, NeoGamma R8 final
I make GC multigame disc with GCMultiGameCreator, and its working.
If i use this version of NeoGamma, i will be able to choose what GC game i boot (with the GCMulti ISO Disc)?
Or i need to put the GC isos inside the disc (like Data disc with the isos) without the Multi Game Creator?
Thanks
Sorry for the english...this is my first post.

Beta 8:
Added video mode patches.

Like for wii games, video mode patches don't work for all games, they only worked for me on 1 game from 3 tested games(forcing NTSC480i on my PAL games).

Anyone know how to get monster hunter tri running on this? After i click game start it freezes. I'm using a disc not a usb file.

Just ran it through GX, CFG, WiiFlow, NeoGamma, "USB". All work perfectly!! My advice, stop spending your money on DVD's, get yourself an EHD & you'll be set my friend.

it needs a cIOS with base 37

reinstall IOS249 based 37, or IOS222[37+38 merged] (like Hermes cIOS V4 (not V5)).
A way to select another cIOS inside neogamma would be great, but I think it's not only an IOS reloading issue, it needs more coding, right ? (or is it already possible ?)

If you don't want to reinstall, try another loader. Though I don't know if their DVD launching capabilities are using the same launching options as USB. just test it.

How to get Monster Hunter Tri (USA) disc past the crash/freeze/stuck on sound buzz after clicking start game:

1) Install "ciosbugfix55.wad"
2) Install "softchip r99.wad"
(Google them)
3) Load the softchip channel from the main wii menu (it doesn't appear on homebrew channel)
4) Select ios55 in the softchip options
5) Start the game

If you install cIOS37rev19, the game should work. And stop spreading info with SoftChip r99, there's r102 for over 4 months now. And r102 doesn't have the main.dol 002 patch anymore, which is a big advantage. I saw a guy who says to enable it, i corrected him, but he did not stop spreading that misinformation.

And instead of telling to get "ciosbugfix55.wad" you should say:
Get a cIOS55 from either cioscorp or darkcorp(for example the file "ciosbugfix55.wad" that's floating around in the net)

PS: SoftChip r102:

The cMIOS has only 2 jobs:
Make the dvd drive accept DVD-Rs
and boot the gamecube launcher

WiiGator's cMIOS does that, so there's no need to improve it. Waninkoko's cMIOS would also do it, but there's a bug that prevents the gamecube launcher to be started. I have a beta version of his cMIOS rev6 with that bug fixed, that's why i'm so sure rev6 will have that bug fixed.

And i'm working at improving the gamecube launcher if you haven't noticed. I'm just doing small steps, and i doubt i can do much more, my skills are limited.
