Well here I leave the last update of Neogamma R8 beta 15 (Wiipower), modification of it, which works with cIOS38 rev15 error free 001 or 002.
Neogamma R8 Beta15-cIOS38 rev15
I put it here with all my good intentions,ok, I hope I do not murmur among yourselves for that.
Greetings.
Neburg.
Do you mind releasing the source? I would like to compile it with different graphics. TY
Is this one actually working?
Already tested, these are the results:
First test: load NSMBW - PAL version with search patches ON and the proper patch inside the SD card ... and, to my surprise, it was almost perfect...only a everlasting blinking in the screen, but that is due to the fact I got a NTSC Wii... never thought a PAL game would load so well in a NTSC console... ofc this was my first test using a PAL game on NTSC Wii...
one solution: blinking screen is avoided by using Force NTSC mode, making it a perfect loading. ^^
one problem: going Home > Wi Menu on a game with wrong video mode causes the wii to crash, needing hard shutdown/reboot. This won't happen if NTSC was forced.
Second test: load SSB: Brawl - NTSC DVD9 (Dual-Layer) UnScrubbed version... flawslessly! like on the NeoGamma r7 ^^ and that proves that my blinking screen problem was due to the fact that I was using diferent versions of video modes... Home > Wii Menu worked.
Conclusion: Flawless working version, with support to games with video modes different from that your wii is,working force video modes, Dual-Layer disc loading & playing, hability to apply patches on the fly, got no bricking (I am aware there's not way that could happen in NeoGamma but I think some nwbs should know this).
Note: If u still don't want to use this, u can try using uLoader, from Hermes, to load NSMBW, but Hermes disc loading takes 10 times more than WiiPower's and uLoader needs u to install cIOS 222 with cIOS 249 using IOS 38 merged with IOS 37 to work... Just to tell u guys: uLoader is currently on version 3.2 and is mainly a USB Loader that only recently had disc support added.
So, if u rather use rev 15 or want to play DL discs, this modded version works well...Needs further testing to know about support of acessories, which i can't make since the only acessories I have are GC controls and Nunchuks. And still needs testing on ocarina and hooks and that stuff, which I have no use so far...
Test Console Used:
Wii LUG64+ from USA
System version: 4.1U (NTSC, Waninkoko's safe version)
HBC version: 1.0.6
cIOS: 38 rev15
And yes, I HATE not beeing able to use bootMii to safe mod my system, so I do anything at my own RISK and got only a half-brick which I corrected long ago... When buying a Wii, ALWAYS check the version! Rather buy a LUG63 or less!!
Just a suggestion: DO NOT UPGRADE TO 4.2! There's nothing good to u in that upgrade, it will only kill your HB which u will need to install again and there's is a high chance to brick only by updating your Wii, even the official one have! Besides, idk if cIOS works on 4.2 official. bootMii and HBC have new versions that work... I managed to install cIOS on a 4.0U wii but I think the stubs on 4.2 Official could make cIOS useless or even brickable...dunno maybe someone here knows more about it. I rather stay with 4.1...
That's it! ^^
