See the change log for R8 RC3*.

Only RC3* works with cIOS 18 and 19. See bellow.

"Updated(direct info from Waninkoko helps...):
Added support for the renamed ehci module, old: "/dev/usb/ehc", new: "/dev/usb2" "

I tried some testing with cIOS X rev 19:

Neogamma 8 RC3* with cIOS rev 19 with IOS57 as base won't detect WBFS drive.
Neogamma 8 RC3* with cIOS rev 19 with IOS38 as base works well (detect WBFS drive and run games regularly).

Now I reinstalled cIOS rev17. I will wait more applications support to reinstall rev19.

Hope this help.
Thanks
Bye

Any chance of improved sdhc cards support?
I have a Sandisk SDHC Ultra Class 4 8gb that works fine with hbc and homebrew applications, but fails to mount in neogamma.
Using 4.2e.

I know that cIOS rev17 was stable but should I go with cIOS rev19 or stay with cIOS rev17 stable one ? What about cIOS rev18 ? I heard that it was unstable. Please verify that, thanks.

The next NeoGamma version should allow you to use IOS61 to access the sd card for Ocarina, patches and stuff, but NOT saving the config and loading games from. If you have games on the sdhc card, it's a cIOS problem if your card works or not. And you can only try cIOS57rev19, that might work better with sdhc cards.

Oh and sd loading might be broken completely in the current version, but the next one shouldn't have that issue, it's accessing the sd card a little bit different.

How about a usb card reader?
Could that work for loading games from sdhc?
If so, can it be a all-in-one type of reader?

Thanks in advance.

RC4: Finally playing Sam & Max!

And i changed quite a lot of the sd card code, now (hopefully) sd loading works again(not tested) and people can use IOS61 to access the sd(hc) card for most stuff except game loading(obviously...) and saving the config.

This time, it's really an RC, no new features will be added until the R8 final is released. If no bugs are reported R8 final release is in 3 days, if there's a bug, it will be either fixed or not(...) and the 3 days count starts all over again.

And it would be nice if people would try to figure out what .wdm files are themselves and create a few for certain IOS Reloading games. But don't get your hope too high, parameters will most likely only help for Sam & Max.

woohoo! great work wiipower!

before people start asking me to make a RC4 autoboot mod, let me just announce that I'm going to wait the 3 days to see if this RC will be the final r8 version before even bothering (also my gf is visiting me for 10 days, so I may not find the time until after she goes back to the states... unless I get bored and find some time while I'm at work

)

.wip are not only for BCA games, this is hex address to patch main.dol to do anything.

I checked the .wdm files

I think it's a way to start an alternative dol, from a menu inside the loader.
It defines the dols and gives them a name.

like :

dol title
dol name
parameter for this entry/dol

Ie. for sam & max :
Episode 1
