Hardware Need suggestions!!!

Okay.
There are two 3DS's
Il lable this one as "purple" 8.1 old 3ds
Il lable this one as "red" 9.3 old 3ds

My sister owns Purple.
I own Red.
I want to swap motherboards so I can have exploitable firmware on Red
Red has a broken card reader ( broke it atemping to nand mod )
How should I go about doing this without my sister knowing?

I will facory reset Red MOTHERBOARD so she doesn't know I switched it(If she loses her data I will say it was because she didn't charge it for too long)

In the end I want the RED shell to have 8.1
I want Purple to be on 9.3, but I dont want it to have the broken card reader so she notices.

of you know how to open without exploding (lol) it , is easy, just open and change the boards, but will have this problem of losing the stuffs ... or you cold only delete your(actuall) 3DS, system tranfers her one to your, change the board and she will still have her stuff...
also will have to change/replace the card slot .

But why don't you just ask her ? looks like she don't care about exploit and you do, she can't understand and make the trade?

She was being rude about it when I brought it up a few months ago.
Also, system transfer requires newest firmware

I am gunan just desolder the card reader from the purple motherboard and solder it onto the red motherboard, then switch motheroards.

This is such a bad idea. It will just end up with both systems bricked and your bottom turning black and blue.

Just finished it. Red now has 8.1, and works fine. Purple is still in peices, and I ordered a new card reader for it.
She never uses it, so we won't even k notice it's gone.

lol this is kinda sad xD even more because I'm with mine " in coma" waiting for the speaker ribbon arrive to see if it can live again =3=

Bte talkig about case , I looked on these sites like sliexpress but I only ind some not very cheap cases :v Mine is a bit danamged I would like to change it , any idea where to find a cheap one?

I laughed reading the first post, good thing you didn't brick them. Once I tried something similar with my iPod and my brother's iPod, didn't work out so well.
