Hacking Need some update help

My PS3 is currently on 4.50 Rogero CFW. I haven't messed with it in a long time and need to get the CFW updated so my daughter can play this Minecraft game. What is the best option available right now? The only thing I run on it is Multiman so as long as that keeps working all is good.

Your best option absolutely: REBUG CFW

Before you install
remove game discs, they contain OFW Updates
turn of wifi, you don't need it anyways for this but in case.

Get a USB (formatted is recommended) and make a folder called PS3 then make a subfolder called UPDATE.
Now get your REBUG CFW PUP and place it in PS3/UPDATE
Rename it to PS3UPDAT.PUP

Plug the USB on rightmost port (like always)

Go to System Setting-->System Update. Update via Storage Media
Start praying. It'll go through two installation screens. Hope they work.

Go to Brewology (link here) and get new Multiman for the new CFW ver. Replace your other homebrew too, The old versions will not be compatible.

I can just install right over my current CFW? The stuff I read earlier today trying to figure it out all mentioned I needed to downgrade back to 3.55. Thanks for the response by the way, much appreciated.
