Hacking Need some help with GBA cheats

I am trying to get cheat codes to work for GBA roms, but i am having a hard time finding cht files for GBA games. and when i try and make a text cheat file i am unable to activate any of the cheats. can anyone help me out or send me in the direction of a cht file for pokemon fire red?

how do you use/where do you put this file?

well if your using the us ver of fire red then the number you want is 1695.cht
so copy that file on the m3 real, then select that file the cheat file selection

thanks for the link, but there are almost no cheats in there, is there any way to add more to the list?
