It'll scale to any size like that, firefox can display SVGs in-browser and will resize it to a manageable size.

Though when thinking about it more it makes me think maybe you actually wanted the gradient to come out properly since PDFs are capable of that, but I don't have any PDF creating software, so you'll have to wait for somebody else.
