If you mean the battery, yes.

Yes, if your Switch dies or powers off completely, you must have a method of pushing an RCM payload to enter CFW again. It is recommended that you keep your Switch in sleep mode whenever you aren't using it, and it is recommended that you never let it die.

They offer a standard BIN payload file that you can use with other injectors like a PC or phone to boot your SXOS, you don't have to use the dongle specifically.

If the console fully powers off for any reason then the payload needs to be re-injected, yes.

why its that when i inject the payload it go straight into cfw i doesn't give me the option to pick between original fw and cfw

Hold volume up while booting.

Because once there's an active license, SX OS autoboots into CFW.
