Need Help With The Switch Membership

I've added 100$ funds to my Nintendo eshop but can't seem to purchase the Membership & Expansion Pack with it, it only gives option of PayPal or Credit Card but not the eshop Funds? Do I need to change the city for it to work or am I toasted?

My Region is set on US Oregon

Did you try purchasing on the web variant of eShop/Nintendo Store? It's possible that on-console eShop and web variant behave differently in this regard.

The reason it is hiding your eShop funds is because Nintendo forces you to set up an automatic renewal payment method before it lets you check out. Once that fallback method is linked, you can choose to have the initial purchase money taken right out of your $100 balance.
You can also deactivate the auto renewal at any time after purchase.

So can I use those funds on other stuff like games & Fortnite subscription n stuff or do I need to add credit card for those as well? I don't want these funds to stay there forever, At least put them to some use, secondly I had to purchase the subscription from the uk account they don't have this kind of trouble, I don't live in US so this was a big trouble for me, here I can only buy eshop card to load funds can't use any credit card on it

In that case, when you run out of funds, I advise that you get an NSO code rather than eShop balance code. It lets you not enable recurring subscription in the first place and doesn't require you to add a payment method, at least in EU eShop.

As for what you can do to get the sub going in the first place, in your situation, I don't know. CC might not be accepted due to you not being in the US, but PayPal might work if it's available for you. Unfortunate, but I think it's all you can do now.

I recommend Amazon Japan, it’s the cheapest one.
Remember that you can only change account region after spending all funds.

You still need a payment method be it credit card or PayPal even if you have funds to cover the purchase. For the record, you don't need to be in the US to be accepted. I personally use my local issued credit card and also local PayPal account to link my US account no problems whatsoever. As long as you don't have a country store or blacklisted, you shouldn't have any problem.

You need to spend the funds, otherwise you can’t change region.
(Or you accept the disclaimer that you will lose all funds and change anyway).
