Finally installed the CFW 3.80 M33.
Tried to start a game (FF7 CC) but got the "The game could not be started" message.
I remember hearing rumors about that you need a original UMD (movie? game?) disc in the UMD drive before you can play anything.
    Is that true?

What types of video file does the psp support. Just tried with a .avi and failed.

    Thanks again

Hold down the R button, and turn the power on, whilst keeping the R button held down ...

Go into Configuration, from the menu that will appear, and select Sony NP9660 -No UMD- in the UMD Mode option ...

Just wondering, what's the difference between all the different UMD modes?

I run it in normal -UMD required- mode, because I have Breath of Fire III in the UMD case at all times, but I see no difference to when I use any of the other games off the MS.

Compability for different games. Some work with certain settings, some donĀ“t work. Normal mode always works, but drains batterylife more quickly as the UMD disc spins.
