Does anyone know how to put the 3d level models in sketchup?
You can use EFE to extract the models out of the level.
May i have a link?
ok i have extracted it do you know where i could change byml to a 3ds?
You mean put the level onto the game?
No put into sketchup so i can edit it. I know how to edit the romfs file part. I just cant figure out how to put it into sketchup
Right, open up the szs file and open the model (The .bcmdl file) You should see the model. Click the green leaf (Top right.) and save it. (If you have a obj importer, you can use OBJ. If not, use .dae.) and go to sketchup.
If you have a OBJ importer:
Go to your OBJ importer's menu, and click import. Choose your model.
If you do not have an OBJ importer:
Go to File>import. Select your .dae model. (This also applies if you have sketchup pro, which you can use an OBJ instead.)
Hope this helped!
i keep opening szs they are all byml types
what szs are you opening?
the FirstStageMap1 i open up a random szs i know what your talking about but it isnt in the FirstStageMap1 szs is this the wrong one?
I have stagedata.byml stageinfo.byml preloadfile1.byml and Camera
satgedata it is.
Ok how to i put a byml file into sketchpad? this will most likely fix my problem.
Why sketchpad? You can just import it into sketchup.
oops i meant sketchup
You can export it into a .dae or .obj and import it after.
can i have a link or name of the program that does that?
you can just use EFE and Sketchup
