Gonna keep it brief and I would appreciate all the help. I have a dsi from 2012. It was my first console and I love it to this day, even though the condition is pretty bad.

Anyway, I have a bunch of pictures on it but there is a problem. None of the pictures are dated properly. This happened after I moved the picture to an sd card and backed them up on my pc because I was gonna do some modifications to it and I believe I formatted it somewhere along the process. This was around 2017 so I don't remember much.

After some time I decided to move the pictures back to the system by first copying to the sd card then to the system.

The issue after this is that almost all the pictures are now showing on the same date. 1/1/2000. There is only five pictures that show the dates they were actually taken on out of 250. My first guess was that the meta data somehow got removed. But I opened the pictures on Windows and they all show their respective dates.

I am not sure what the issue could be here. Why the pictures are not showing their respective dates. If anyone knows a fix or even a reason why this isn't possible anymore, please let me know! Thanks.

I found a solution that might help you on my thread: "[GUIDE]Change the date and time of DSi pictures via macOS Terminal" P.S. Can't post links 'cause I'm on a new account..
