Hardware Need help with burning SSBB

I've tried twice to burn SSBB, and each time it's failed at 50%. I'm using IMGburn, and I set the layer break manually, but after 50% it gives me an I/O Device Error. What's the problem?

imgburn, SHRUNK at 1x? works fine, use wiiscrubber or ur favorite compressor, im not sure how low it goes, but if it goes low enuf, then single layer dvd, otherwise dual layer.....
