This is my first post in this forum, I bricked my vWii by creating and installing some Wii wads which was supposed to add shortcuts for my backups on the vWii menu. These bad channels were installed onto ios80, and then vWii would not go pass the warning screen. I did follow a softmod guide when modding the console and created nand.bin and keys.bin files before ios80 update. Some google search then took me to extract this nand.bin and replace shared1/00000000.app and shared1/0000000d.app using FTPiiu everywhere, this did not work. Then I decided to erase everything inside slccmpt01 folder and replaced with all the folders from my nand.bin extract, still not working. I have read different guides on how to recover vWii by using Python and other guides say reinstall ios58. I cannot workout how to use python as there is not specific guide on this. Is there anyway I can recover vWii by using backup files nand.bin and keys.bin, at least a way to extract some ios from these 2 files. Until now I cannot see any points of creating these 2 backup files. Any help is appreciated.
