Hacking need help useing cheats

i cant figure out how to use cheats in sakura...

i pick a game and then set gloabal cheat setting to always on, i select the cheats i want then i load the game and find out it didnt work...

my question now is, how do i go about getting these cheats to work ?

thought i should add that cheats with (Select) next to the cheat name , seem to be the ones that are not working for me

ones without (Select) work as far as i can tell

If you're using the latest version of Sakura, cheats aren't working for most games. You can either downgrade or wait until the next update for the cheats to be fixed.

im useing 1.45 x 2nd edition i belive... i didnt download the 3rd yet, do cheats not work on 2nd? i tried them with rangarok online, magicians quest.

all of children of mana worked but none of them have the (select) next to the cheat ethier so i figured it has somthing to do with the (select)? cause in ragnarok ds the 2x speed worked but the others with (select) didnt seem to same with magician quest

using 4.7a X and sakura 1.44 cheats work fine.

guess i should mention i tried both sakura 1.45x 2nd edition and the offical m3 firmware both didnt work for phantasy star zero,magician quest, ragnarok ds

Sakura 1.45 2nd and 3rd edition, as well as the touchpod versions associated with them, dont work with cheats on most games.

1.44 does have working cheats, but it cant boot a clean rom of spirit tracks, only the patched version.

well... i got them to work... i help select when i was in game and it gave me the stuff i also had cheats set to always on so yea...

I know for a fact that zelda spirit tracks and prof layton and the diabolical box are not working with cheat codes. When you turn the cheats on the games crash when trying to load. I've heard reports that many other games are not working either on these firmwares, but havent tested them myself.

I see what people meant after testing Zelda with Sakura 1.45 3rd (the game refuses to load when Cheats are ON) , but cheats for it works fine in the 2nd edition.
anyways, people shouldn't have upgrade to 1.45 3rd since it only fixes Chrono Trigger chinese translated version
