Hacking Need help updating please!

I'm an EXTREME nub when it comes to r4i firmwares and whatnot, so ANY help would be VERY appreciated.

I updated my dsi to 1.4.4 not knowing that it would break my r4i advanced gold card, and now I have absolutely NO idea how to update it to work again. I do have a microSD adapter, but i have no idea what to do with the files i download. If it makes a difference, my card looks like this :

Except my sd card adapter is not a usb like that, it goes in the SD slot, if that makes a difference.

My dsi gives that "an error has occured" message after fading to black when i try to launch the card from the dsi menu.

Any help would be EXTREMELY appeciated!

Also, the game that it fakes is Alex Rider stormbreaker if that helps.

You need another DS because you need to run the update file on the DS.
