Need help tracking down old PC game

I have been wondering about a Point and Click game I played in the past.
Details:
- I can't remember the name
- Sierra comes to mind
- It involves a girl saving a dog from a mansion (I think

)

If anyone knows the name, PLEASE post here. This question has been bugging me for a while now

Best bet is Maniac Mansion its by Lucas arts though.

Fits some of the clues.

Point and click, it kind of like a horror parody game.

A girl doesn't save a dog from the mansion as far as I can remember but you do save a girl, and obviously there is a mansion involved.

Noooooo it's Pepper's Adventures in Time. I know because I searched for this game a couple months ago XD If anyone knows how to emulate it, please post here.

Since it's just a DOS game, DOSBox should work fine. (and according to this : http://www.dosbox.com/comp_list.php?showID=2623&letter=P It does work fine)
