Need help selling used furniture!

Me and my girlfriend are looking to move and wanted to sell are old furniture, we're not sure where to start, we've seen places on tv that show people coming to the door to buy the used furniture. We live in Orange, CA any one out this way know of some places, phone numbers and addresses would be great, we need to get rid of this used stuff asap, any help would be great!

That was actually the first idea I got too. Post your item, wait for people to flock your house.

That, or just post stuff on E-Bay and put a disclaimer that the buyer pays for transport.
