Hacking Need guidance on avoiding eventual ban with modded console

I FINALLY ordered a picofly modchip for my switch (got the core one cus its a basic "new" switch). Itll probably arrive in a few weeks but ill get someone else to do it (thankfully).

But as a person who has been playing for 2 years on a normal nin acc, with current NSO subscription, i need to know how i can possibly avoid a ban. Is it a 3ds situation where i need a seperate emulated nand? Any help would be cool.

Safest way is to use another console for homebrew.

Next closest thing is to use sysNAND for online, and emuNAND just for homebrew (like 3DS). Never install any homebrew on sysNAND (or better yet, never do anything on sysNAND that N would frown upon... even a custom profile icon could be enough for a ban).
 
Either that, or not playing online in general, right?
What if I just used a profile only for homebrew? And play my normally obtained games with my main profile?
Even if you do not play online, the console logs activity and may flag it for a ban later on when it contacts N servers.

As far as I know, profiles do not provide separation and software titles are installed for all users of the console. The usual method is emuNAND.
Edit: btw how is the emulation right now in 2025? Specifically the gamecube and ps2?
Ports are one thing, but I feel straight up emulation of PS2 and Gamecube is a bit of a stretch, even overclocking. I don't emulate anything above SNES/GBA, really (using Retroarch).

After all, isn't Gamecube emulation intended to be kind of a big selling point for NSO on the Switch 2?
