Gaming Need a netbook/laptop... what do you recommend?

Asus EeePC 1021n is pretty awesome


EDIT: Windows 7 Starter is the best version for a netbook. Sure you don't get picture backgrounds, but really who cares.

The Asus 1201n is only $540 Canadian and has a Dual core 1.6 GHz Processor that you can overclock and has a Nvidia ION and is siutable for some light gaming. the only drawback is you get about 2.5 hours of battery life when playing games as the ION sucks a lot of juice. And windows 7 home premuim works fine on netbooks, heck even ultimate works (Can't use Aero or premium themes though).

If you are going to get a gaming computer be prepared to spend more than $300 on it.

dual core atom doesnt improve performance as some would predict
a small increase

for the price, size, and other factors you might as well get a regular laptop instead of that

Guessing you haven't actually used it then? It has a 3 application limit!

Guessing you haven't either. Windows 7 Starter Edition doesn't have the 3 application limitation, like the Vista Starter Edition had. Microsoft decided to do away with it after receiving feedback.
