I enjoyed the GBC one back in the day because it was similar to the keychain deal, only it was more lil dudes and more crap to do (not much more rly). I was under the impression that this was some kinda spinoff crap, rather than a straight virtual pet. Hmm..

I think Id rather program my own virtual pet really. Add some innocent animals to be prey and lots of blood xD Cuase virtual pets dont have enough of that xD

I used to have a generic Tamagachi in middle school too. My sister hada real one, and we both had about two each or more xD
She collected those KFC ones and a real tamagachi, though for me, I went for those cheap generic ones that had 8 differnt things to take care of. It was simple ones that didnt evovle, but I liked their predictablity best xD

Would you beleive that Tamagachi just now got to Version 2? lol
Its sad that they just now ugraded the US versions xD

Oh well, I hate to admit it, but I'll probly try this game out. Its kinda fun terrorizing the tiny little virtual buggers >;3
