If your N3DS is unmodified and on the latest firmware, you can install the Homebrew Launcher. This works on the latest firmware but you need either Cubic Ninja, Ironfall, YouTube, Smash Brothers or Ocarina of Time.

That guide is for latest FW I think... How do I install it on GW? Sorry, am confused

Oh, you already have Gateway? In that case, it's much easier.

Download the latest Retroarch nightly. Inside the zip are loads of different emulators, including one for CATSFC. Either install the .cia build using Devmenu, or use the .3dsx version in Ninjhax.

Once installed in GW, where do I put SNES games, cheats, etc? Can I install/use both CATSFC and SNES9x?

Hi i just recently got the SuperCard DStwo. I am satisfied with the gba emulator and it works fine. But the SNES one freezes when I try to load the list of roms. The same happens with the NES emulator I have. I originally thought maybe there were too many files to load but I am not sure. Any advice.

I have 1.36.1, and I was able to get most Cheats working.

Here's the thing, Make absolutely sure you used the v0.51-0.74 Cheat Code Pack. If you used the v0.75-0.82 Cheat Code Pack by mistake, the cheats won't load. I had the Same issue you did when i used the .82 pack, but when I used the .74 pack, the cheats loaded up, and almost every cheat worked. I'm sure there's a few games that will give you trouble, but they will at least load up for you.

Yes I did try google.
On a side note, I am still experiencing freezing when opening emulator menu in both CATSFC and TempGBA/NDSGBA. Not sure what is causing it or how to fix. Are there any other SNES/GBA emulators for SC DSTwo that work better and support cheats? Is BAGSFC r3 good?

Has anyone been able to get cheats to work in CATSFC 1.36.1?

Freeze still happening in SNES and GBA Emulators when sometimes opening emulator menu... is this a known issue? Not sure what to do/how to proceed...

Update: Tried different versions of NDSSFC and latest CATSFC (1.36.1). Freeze still happens, even with latest EOS also. Am getting frustrated and not sure what else to do/try...

I did some Googling and found the archive (the right button on the bottom is "download").

For the freezing problem: Maybe you need to wipe the configuration file or maybe too many ROMs in one folder?

What config file do I wipe/delete?

Well it is catsfc.ini but since you tried different versions of the plugin then you should have overwritten it with a clean copy already. I guess try removing all but one ROM and if it still freezes then it could be the microSD is corrupted or real fragmented. In that case, back everything up that you need to save, format, and reinstall.

I am going to try a different mSD card, but it is SDXC... Will SDXC work if I format to FAT32?

I believe 64gb worked when formatted to fat32. Larger than that I am not sure of.

Hi there, I have a dstwo plus, and no Idea how to save my game progress.
After I choose to create a game state, I can only then choose to delete it but I can't load any of them!

Please Help!

yes they do.i use the pc snes emu bsnes(v060)to make my cht files and they work perfectly
just make sure your rom/cht file names match and are in the right folders on your sd card

in regards to tempgba,yes the code support is broken;use ndsgba instead,it uses the same code type+format as gpsp kai(psp)
in fact,cht files for gpsp kai also work in ndsgba...
