I notice that we can rename our game save to match the rom file name. I wonder if we can rename our game save from one region to another, and still get it to load up. I am going to try using Poke'mon Platinum Japanese game save, and rename it to match the U.S version of the game. Will it work? I don't know til I try it out. Can you fellas out there help me test this out with other game save from one region to another. The reason I ask for this is because, let say you want to play..........ummmmm Kingdom Heart, but only the Japanese version is the only one out. So you decided to get it and play it, then you got pretty far in the game, but then the U.S version come out and you don't want to restart it over. If we can rename our game save to match, we can continues where we left off in the Japanese version in the U.S version. What do you guys think?. Lemme know. It can be possible!!

I don't think it will work.

Each and every rom from different regions have a different GameID. And the save is only going to work with the matching GameID saved in the save file.

I can understand the gameID part but come to think of it, I'm sure there is a way to change that also. I'll try it when I have time.
