I did want something like the PGP I got for my PSP but nothing like that exists for the DS
closet I found was this from bestbuy
http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage.jsp?sk...d=1170290389422

but I got the airform instead
pretty good quality, I was expecting some cheap china case that fell apart like other reviews said but it seems fine, rubber feels sturdy and protects the DS
I doubt its flame proof as the back of the package claims though...

While I was visiting my bro in electronics at wallyworld (two guesses which evil company I am referring to) I checked out abunch of pouchs there. Then i noticed this little bundle box. It included elite beat agent, 3 different color stylus and decent looking pouch and I forget what else. 20$, which would be nice if i needed elite beat, or extra styluses or..a pouch. Plus...it really made me want to switch out elitebeat for another game and casually buy it...but I'm sure someone from the store might notice that..

I went with this myself. It's not a "pouch" its a "case" thingy.

Price range, well I paid about 20 Canadian in a Zellers store.

It's armour plating in my way of thinking. If I drop it somehow, the case takes the fall, not the DS.

Allows 3 games in total safe storage, and a spare stylus.

Pros, it's clear plastic, so you get to admire your DS still (if you have a cool skin or something).
You can paint custom from inner surface is you want to, and presto you have a custom looking DS set up, and no physical alteration of the actual DS (if this matters to you).

Cons, well it is plastic, some call that a weakness.
Lid only opens to 90 degress vertical, does not open to 180 degress rotation ie all the way to lie flat (just assuming that might be a con actually).

I searched a good while for my own personal preference as well. This is my idea of the winning solution.

I actually began with a Yu-Gi-Oh card carrying case though. Something made in China (of course, it's all made in China though).
Zippered front enclosure, zippered rear enclosure. Each enclosure had mesh retainers. Had a short rist carry strap, had a carry strap capable of being a shoulder strap. The item's front was actually able to hold the unit, and the opposing side could carry MANY game cards. Plus I was able to carry recharger in the rear.
The point to all this, is the item was not made for the DS, it looked more like mini luggage. I was able to use it to carry a digital camera as well as a wallet while the ds rode in a pocket. It was quite versatile.

My advice, do not restrict your search to just DS Lite options, as your best choices might have nothing to do with carrying a hand held game device.
A label saying Nintendo DS Lite might be not fully worth the restricted number of choices.
